Intimacy

Deepness. Being real. Staying true. We’ve successfully programmed ourselves as a society over years to move away from reality and into being shallow. We’ve been manipulated into sleeping. We’ve been tricked into mocking the ones who woke up, we’ve learned to gaslight ourselves to filter out the trueness. This is not the world I want to be in: I’m into realness.

I don’t want touching the water with me feet; I want jumping into the crushing waves. I don’t like small talks; I like deep talks about the universe, life, consciousness, death, beliefs, sex, our deepest fears, traumas, embarrassing things, and all the things that the society finds uncomfortable. I don’t care what politicians and celebrities are doing. I want science, I want art, I want sports, I crave intellectuality in everything. I want to hear your deepest fears and share mine.

I love real, long, intimate hugs. Not only with people. I want to hug every cat and dog I see walking. Not just pet them, but hug and feel their warmness. Feel the bond. Let them kiss me with their wet nose, let a stray cat purr feeling my heartbeat. I love embracing big pine trees, breathing in the oxygen, remembering that we’re made of the same thing. I love following the paw prints on the sand and remembering that we all have a long story to tell.

I love true feelings: laughters of joy, tears of love, screams of cleansing when driving and listening to music loudly bringing me into my knees, looking into my eyes in the mirror, talking to my inner child with bare foot walks in the beach, listening to the wind and waves, reconnecting deeply with the fabric of reality.

I love sharing. Sharing moments, sharing food, sharing experiences, talking and sharing our little secrets, sharing trust, listening, understanding, having empathy, feeling heard and understood, overcoming struggles together with the people I love. Sharing the life, purely, with the good and the bad, with the ecstasy and the grief.

This is the intimacy that we’re meant to be with all the universe, with all the living beings, and most importantly, with our true selves.
